¶ 1. Ronald Jurney and Missie Slay Jurney were divorced in August 1998. Thereafter, Ronald filed a petition for contempt, alleging that Missie had failed to abide by certain terms of the divorce decree. Ronald specifically alleged that Missie failed to maintain a wholesome environment for the parties' two minor sons, and failed to pay certain medical expenses in accordance with the judgment of divorce.
