On January 15, 2004, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a five-count bill of information against defendant, Leonard McGee. In counts 1 through 3, defendant was charged with armed robbery pursuant to LSA-R.S. 14:64. In count 4, defendant was charged with attempted armed robbery pursuant to LSA-R.S. 14:27 and 14:64.
