Donny L. Crook, a defendant who was convicted of first-degree murder, appeals a circuit court judgment sentencing him to death. We have jurisdiction. See art. V, § 3(b)(1), Fla. Const. For the reasons expressed below, we reverse Crook's death sentence and remand the case for the imposition of a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole to be served in addition to the two life...
