¶ 1. Zarius Ward pled guilty to one count of rape and three counts of burglary. On August 26, 2002, he was sentenced on the rape charge by the Rankin County Circuit Court to a term of forty years with sixteen years suspended, with twenty-four years to serve in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. He also received three twenty-four year terms for the three counts of burglary...
