The defendant, the department of social services, appeals from trial court's denial of its motion to dismiss the action of the plaintiff, Greg S. Schub, on sovereign immunity grounds. On appeal, the defendant argues that the court improperly held that the plaintiff's claims for money damages against the state were not barred by sovereign immunity. We agree with the defendant and, accordingly, reverse the ruling of the trial court.
