Michele Kant, now known as Michele Strom, brought this civil action against Sabah Altayar, M.D., in the district court for Douglas County, alleging that he committed a battery upon her. Following a jury trial and verdict in Kant's favor, judgment was entered for Kant in the amount of $37,500.
