After an adjudicatory hearing, the respondent's children, A.R. and Ax.R. (minors), were found to be neglected by reason of an injurious environment. Following a subsequent dispositional hearing, the respondent was found unfit. The minors were made wards of the court, and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) was appointed guardian with the power to place. The respondent appealed the neglect adjudication...
