In this case from the Circuit Court of Braxton County, the appellant, Sharon Cunningham, appeals from an order that found the appellant responsible for half of the debt owed on a promissory note that the appellant neither signed nor otherwise ratified; that the appellee, Donald E. Dobbins, was the sole owner of a logging business jointly operated by the appellant and the appellee; and that the appellant owed the appellee $1,000.00 for personal property...
