[¶ 1] The Department of Human Services appealed from a district court judgment reversing the Department's decision that Deloris Pladson was not eligible for Medicaid benefits because her countable assets, including a nonassignable annuity, exceeded the $3,000 eligibility limit, and from an order denying the Department's motion to alter or amend the court's judgment.
