¶ 1. On October 9, 2001, Antonio Boyd pled guilty to murder and armed robbery. The Newton County Circuit Court accepted Boyd's plea and sentenced Boyd to a life sentence and a consecutive thirty year sentence in the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
