In the first portion of a bifurcated jury trial, Gilbert Vasser was convicted of two counts of aggravated assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, and fleeing and attempting to elude a law enforcement officer. Vasser was then tried and convicted of two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Vasser claims that the trial court erred by allowing the jury to hear his videotaped statement to police...
