James Darnell Crenshaw was indicted for burglary, theft by receiving stolen property, and criminal trespass. The jury acquitted him of the theft by receiving stolen property charge, but convicted him of burglary. The trial court directed a verdict on the charge of criminal trespass and sentenced Crenshaw to 20 years, with 17 to be served in confinement and the balance on probation.
