In this case, we consider whether Carmen Rodriguez (Carmen) and her son, Samuel Rodriguez (Samuel) (collectively, the plaintiffs), are each entitled to recover damages from the Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) for their alleged emotional distress resulting from several invasions of the apartment that Carmen leased from the CHA.
