COATS, Chief Judge.

This case raises the question of whether the defendant, John E. Moore, consented to have the police search his residence to look for a methamphetamine laboratory. We conclude that, because the troopers obtained Moore's consent by telling him that they had already found a methamphetamine laboratory in a search of a shed in his back yard, and because this search was later determined to be illegal, Moore's consent was tainted...
