McLACHLAN, J.
In this statutory negligence action, the plaintiff, Greg Beale, appeals from the judgment rendered by the trial court after it directed a verdict in favor of the defendant, Yale-New Haven Hospital. The sole issue on appeal is whether the court properly directed the verdict on the basis of the plaintiff's failure to establish that the defendant's conduct proximately caused him any injury.
