KITE, Justice.

[¶ 1] While working as a laborer for Wyoming Sawmills, Inc. (Wyoming Sawmills), Regina A. Blommel experienced pain in her right shoulder. She saw a physician's assistant who referred her to an orthopedic surgeon. The following day, she told her supervisor about the pain, but did not report it as work related. Nearly three weeks later, before she saw the orthopedic surgeon, Ms. Blommel quit her job with Wyoming Sawmills because of the pain. Thereafter...
