McKAY, Circuit Judge.

Defendant was indicted for knowing and intentional distribution of 2.97 grams of crack cocaine and for conspiracy to knowingly and intentionally distribute in excess of fifty grams of the same substance. The case was tried to a jury, which returned a verdict of guilty on both counts. The interrogatories on the special verdict form provided the jury an opportunity to determine the quantity involved in the conspiracy count. The first question asked...
