NATURE OF CASE

On April 25, 2000, Shannon Bluhm and Robert Parminter were killed on an Otoe County road. The appellant, Kimberly Sue Faust, was charged in the deaths and convicted of two counts of first degree murder and two counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony. On appeal, we reversed those convictions because the jury had been "exposed to a significant amount of improper and prejudicial testimony." State v. Faust,
