Roosevelt Sims entered a conditional plea of guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm as a previously convicted felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1), after the district court1 denied his motion to suppress evidence obtained from a search of his van. The district court sentenced Sims to 54 months' imprisonment, and he appeals the denial of his motion...
