I. INTRODUCTION

Teva Marron and Lyle Stromstad were involved in an automobile accident, for which Stromstad admitted fault. Marron sued for damages, particularly compensation for medical treatments, that she claims arose from the accident. The only issue at trial was causation, and the trial consisted largely of expert testimony. The jury found for Stromstad and the court awarded him costs and fees. On appeal...
