A jury found Tony Lavelle Hunter ("Defendant") guilty on three counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted armed robbery. The trial court sentenced Defendant to serve three consecutive terms of life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence for the murders and another consecutive term of 49 years at hard labor without benefits for the attempted armed robbery.
