GILMAN, Circuit Judge.

Patrick Michael Stonefish was driving a car with seven Chinese nationals inside when he was arrested as he headed toward Detroit on Interstate 94. A jury convicted Stonefish of transporting illegal aliens in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(A)(ii). The district court then sentenced him to 30 months in prison.
