Mahlon Jeffries was indicted on six counts of abusive sexual contact and moved to dismiss the charges as time barred. After the district court1 denied his motion, Jeffries arranged to plead guilty to two counts while preserving his right to appeal the denial of his motion. He received concurrent sentences of 30 months on each count and now appeals, arguing that the district court erred by denying his motion to dismiss...
