The superior court granted a preliminary injunction to a third-party political candidate based upon a claim of unconstitutionality of state ballot access laws. The injunction compelled the State of Alaska to include, despite the candidate's noncompliance with such laws, the candidate's name and party on the November 2004 general ballot for United States Senator.
