Appellant Maxwell Hoffman was convicted of first-degree murder and received a death sentence in 1989. Presently pending before this Court is an appeal from the district court's dismissal of Hoffman's Second Petition for Post-Conviction Relief or Writ of Habeas Corpus and a Motion to Correct Illegal Sentence.
