The Government appeals from the district court's order granting Lorretta Tarango's motion for a new trial. A jury found Tarango guilty of aiding and abetting her co-defendant, Dipakkumar Patel, in his efforts to defraud various federal health care programs by submitting false billing statements that failed to comply with the governing provisions of those programs.
