On August 28, 2002, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 1 ("Union") filed suit in the United States District Court seeking an order compelling GKN Aerospace North America, Inc. ("GKN") to arbitrate a dispute involving one of GKN's supervisory employees.
