Tommie Thames appeals pro se from an order denying his WIS. STAT. § 974.06 (2003-04)1 motion for postconviction relief. We conclude that the issues raised in Thames's motion are procedurally barred by the plain language of § 974.06 and under the law of State v. Escalona-Naranjo, 185 Wis.2d 168,
