In this foreclosure action, the defendants William F. Van Eck (Van Eck) and Gertrude J. Vermande Van Eck (Vermande)1 appeal from the judgment of foreclosure by sale rendered by the trial court in favor of the plaintiff, Atlantic National Trust, LLC. On appeal, the defendants claim that the court improperly found that $65,000 of the defendants' loan was applied properly to the debts of their son, Jan Van Eck.
