A Newton County grand jury indicted Charles W. McKinney for the offense of trafficking in methamphetamine (OCGA § 16-13-31(e)). The trial court subsequently entered an order granting McKinney's motion to suppress the drugs seized from his bedroom. In the first appeal of this case, we held that the record was unclear as to whether the trial court had considered the correct factors in determining whether the police had obtained the valid consent...
