The defendant, Anthony Black, was charged by bill of information with manslaughter, a violation of La. R.S. 14:31. Defendant entered a plea of not guilty and was tried before a jury. The jury found the defendant guilty as charged. The trial court sentenced the defendant to a term of twenty-five years at hard labor to run concurrent with any other sentences that defendant was serving.
