This asbestos-related case was filed on April 28, 2000, in the Circuit Court of Holmes County by over 150 plaintiffs, including James Curry, Bobby Joe Lawrence, Phillip Pate and Simeon Johnson ("Plaintiffs") against approximately 62 defendants1, one of which was Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company ("3M"), a manufacturer of protective masks.
