Police executed a search warrant on a residence in Peoria, Illinois on July 3, 2002, looking for drugs and associated paraphernalia. In the residence, the police found Kenneth Lee seated at a kitchen table, with crack cocaine on and underneath the table. After delivering Miranda warnings, the police interrogated Lee in the bathroom and he admitted that the crack was his. On August 21, 2002, Lee was indicted in the United States District...
