Appellant Michael Lowry was convicted in a jury trial of stalking in the first degree, arson, and eleven counts of violation of a protective order. Lowry was sentenced to twenty years' imprisonment on the stalking charge, ten years' imprisonment on the arson charge, and one year imprisonment in the Saline County Jail for the violation of protective-order charges.
