This matter arises from a medical malpractice action brought by Richard Landon and his wife, Joann Landon, against Pamela Zorn, M.D. and Atlantic General Hospital ("AGH").1 The Landons contend that Dr. Zorn committed medical malpractice when she failed to diagnose Mr. Landon as suffering from necrotizing faciitis, or flesh eating bacteria.
