Opinion by Chief Justice MORRISS.

After Trooper Lloyd McKinney stopped Anna P. Cisneros for speeding along Interstate Highway 20 in Harrison County, he asked Cisneros for consent to search her vehicle, and she refused. After McKinney misrepresented to Cisneros that he did not need a warrant to search a car, she first told him there was nothing in the car and then told him to "go ahead." McKinney's warrantless search uncovered less than two ounces...
