The Roof Doctor, Inc. filed this action in magistrate's court alleging Birchwood Holdings, Ltd. breached a contract. Birchwood's answer contained a general denial and a counterclaim. The magistrate entered judgment for Roof Doctor, but reduced the award based on Birchwood's counterclaim. The magistrate denied Roof Doctor's motion for reconsideration.
