On August 4, 2004, the appellant, R.S.M., pleaded guilty in the Baldwin Juvenile Court to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a violation of § 12-15-13, Ala.Code 1975.1 He was sentenced to one year's imprisonment; the sentence was split, and he was ordered to serve 30 days in confinement followed by 12 months on probation.
