Petitioner Deshawn Sims was convicted on four counts in 2000: cocaine distribution, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, aiding and abetting possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and aiding and abetting possession with intent to distribute cocaine base. On October 11, 2000 of that year, he was sentenced to four concurrent terms of 262 months, and the Sixth Circuit upheld the convictions and sentences...
