¶ 1. Richard Stone pled guilty in the Lowndes County Circuit Court to the statutory rape of a twelve-year-old child. He was sentenced to a term of twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. On March 8, 2002, Stone filed a petition for post-conviction collateral relief.
