The defendant, Greg Picard, was charged by bill of information with driving while intoxicated (DWI), fourth offense, a violation of La. R.S. 14:98(E). He pled not guilty and moved to quash the bill of information. The trial court denied the motion. On April 22, 2003, following a trial by jury, the defendant was found guilty as charged.
