SCHALLER, J.

The petitioner, Anthony W. Oliphant, appeals from the decision of the habeas court dismissing his petition for a writ of habeas corpus for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. On appeal, the petitioner raised several claims, but because we agree with the court's conclusion that it lacked subject matter jurisdiction, we address only that issue.
