Was this defendant's waiver of his right to counsel during his trial on sexual-assault charges knowing and intelligent? The defendant, Robert Bluitt, appeals from a judgment of conviction on one count of first-degree sexual assault and on one count of second-degree sexual assault against his biological granddaughter.
