On March 14, 1997, the Department of Social Services recorded a lien against 5707 12th Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, block 697, lot 7, for Medicaid nursing home coverage that had been furnished to the plaintiff's mother, the late Josephine Roccanova, from August 12, 1996 and accruing eventually to October 1, 2001 (the date of her demise).
