George Taylor appeals from a Chapter 980 commitment order entered after a jury found him to be a sexually violent person, and an order denying his postcommitment motion. Taylor contends that his trial counsel's failure to challenge the State's use of peremptory challenges to strike only male jurors deprived him of his constitutional right to the effective assistance of counsel.
