This case is before us on remand from the Supreme Court for consideration as on leave granted.1 People v. Hendrick, 468 Mich. 918, 662 N.W.2d 757 (2003). After defendant violated his probation, the trial court sentenced him to one to five years' imprisonment for his conviction of attempted first-degree home invasion, MCL 750.92; MCL 750.110a(2), and ten to twenty years' imprisonment...
