Plaintiff moves for leave to amend the complaint in this copyright infringement action, to allege a claim for punitive damages. Motions to amend a complaint are freely granted when justice so requires. Fed.R.Civ.P. § 15(a). Here, however, the defendant opposes the motion, arguing that as a matter of law punitive damages are not available for copyright infringement...
