Susan McGuire was involved in a traffic accident when struck by a tractor-trailer truck owned by S & S (Seltsam and Sandner) Seed Farms. McGuire's injuries were treated at a hospital. McGuire sued, alleging S & S was vicariously liable for the tractor-trailer driver's negligent operation. After trial, McGuire received a judgment of $45,000.
