In this appeal we must determine whether the trial court erred by denying professional bail bondsman Tim Mathis' (Mathis) motion to set aside forfeiture of an appearance bond Mathis posted on behalf of Jeffrey Craig Poteat (Poteat) for the purpose of securing Poteat's appearance in court to answer charges of driving while license revoked and failure to appear.
