NATURE OF CASE

William Brouder Freeman was convicted of first degree sexual assault and sentenced to a term of 10 to 20 years in prison. Freeman appeals his conviction and sentence.

SCOPE OF REVIEW

Sentences within statutory limits will be disturbed by an appellate court only if the sentences complained of were an abuse of judicial discretion. State v. Segura, 265 Neb. 903,
